Court System

  3. The seven Circuit Courts all have original jurisdiction over all criminal and civil cases and they have exclusive jurisdiction over felony cases and cases including amounts of money that exceed $10,000.
  4. The Supreme Court is known as the last appellate court and it reviews the decisions of the Circuit Courts. This court is also in charge of making the court rules and laws.
